This is a work-in-progress map of the known named victims of racially-motivated lynchings and killings between the years of 1900 and 1950. At present, this list focuses on black victims and, in some cases, non-black allies killed for associating with or advocating for black citizens. This may be expanded in the future. Locations, unless specified otherwise, should be taken as general rather than exact. While this map utilizes existing lists, each name and location is being researched individually and corrections are being made. As this is an ongoing project that will take a considerable amount of time, please expect some errors and feel free to offer corrections at trinity.greer@gmail.com Project Begun in October, 2024.
